It all friggin started with me seeing the Joubert drawings Piper posted and going "hmm I wonder if he has these but, like, fully naked" and guess what? He had. What an absolute madman. Needless to say, my soul hasn't known peace since then. The Boys have taken over my soul. It has been almost 2 months already. I am in awe and also horrified what strong impact the concept of Boy had on my mind. I could go on and on and on but my keyboard doesn't let me.

Like one of the comments under a Joub pic simply said "Thanks for posting the works of Pierre Joubert. I really love how he captured the spirit of boys in his artwork." and I don't understand it yet I can Feel it. The spirit of the Boy. Is happiness. Carelessness. Cheer. Raw aggression sometimes. Onscreen violence. Hugging fellow Boys. Legs. Running. Freedom. What is Boy but a state of consciousness. Boys are eternal and young. They are in possession of lovely young legs with the softest skin, which sometimes gets tan because Boys spend lots of time outdoors. The softness of the flesh of Boy is their spirit. Legs of Boy has everything in it. Sunshine. Rainwater. The light of the day and gloom of the night. Or, maybe it can be my internal 80s teenager breaking lose. I let it gain too much power through the last years. It's unstoppable now and makes my mind go blank every time I see some brutalist architecture or hear disco music. It grew powerful that way. Now it's going berserk. Oh boy, somebody please help my soul
